Delta Force Paintball Australia, the country’s leader in high-octane skirmish action, has officially announced a nationwide transition from traditional .68 caliber paintballs to the more advanced .50 caliber "Low Impact" technology.

This strategic move is designed to enhance the player experience across all skill levels, making the sport more accessible, tactical, and—most importantly—fun.

Why the Change? The Science of "Low Impact"

For years, the .68 caliber ball has been the industry standard, but it often came with a "sting" that intimidated newer players. By switching to .50 caliber, Delta Force is prioritizing a smoother game without sacrificing the thrill of the hunt.

What This Means for Players

  1. Less Ouch, More Action: The lighter rounds mean significantly less bruising and discomfort. This makes the game more inclusive for families, corporate groups, and younger players.
  2. Increased Ammo Capacity: Because the rounds are smaller, players can carry more paint onto the field, allowing for longer rallies and more "suppressive fire" opportunities.
  3. Better Equipment Performance: The new .50 cal markers are lighter and more maneuverable, reducing player fatigue during those intense full-day sessions.
  4. Eco-Friendly Precision: As always, the paint remains 100% biodegradable and non-toxic, ensuring the Australian bush stays as pristine as we found it.

"Our goal has always been to provide the most immersive paintball experience in the world. By moving to .50 caliber, we’re removing the 'fear factor' for beginners while giving our seasoned vets a more precise, tactical tool to dominate the map." — Delta Force Operations Team

The rollout is currently live across all Australian centers. Whether you’re defending the Tomb Raider pyramid or storming the Black Hawk Down extraction point, the new .50 cal era is here to stay.
